The Hoya Rubra features thick, waxy leaves that are variegated with shades of green, creamy white, and pink. The new growth often emerges pink before maturing into its variegated form. This Hoya produces clusters of star-shaped, fragrant flowers. The blooms are usually white or pale pink with a deeper pink center and have a sweet, pleasant fragrance.
